Bioreactor run VI! What a waste of money and time.

Sixth run. Conditions as before. Autoclaved bottles and media and bioreactors yesterday. Took them out yesterday night.

Ran for 12h
Took 1ml cell pellets + supernatents at every hour. 3 pellets for plasmid, 1 for host, 3 supernatents each
Measured OD every hour
Took 12ml samples for microarray. 6 samples for important point. 4 samples for neighbouring points.
Took 10ml samples for proteomics analysis. 3 samples for important point. 2 samples for neighbouring points.
Did plasmid loss test at time 5.5

Plasmid OD exceeded host OD at the end. Plated plasmid cells. Found contaminant. Big fat round colonies. BigM again. Maybe I'll get to make more of that ribena agar..
